Three Sins of Amercia

Three serious sins of the American people that have contributed to the spiritual decline and evaporation of God's graces from the United States of America are:

1) the murder of unborn babies that we call "freedom of choice"

2) the destruction and perversion of the American family that we call "gay rights"

3) the anti-Semitism that is preached from church pulpits that we call "Replacement Theology"

We condemn other countries of their genocidal politics and ethnic cleansings, yet, our hypocrisy exposes itself at every government-funded abortion clinic as they ignore Jeremiah 32:35 and Psalm 127:3.

We boast of our strong, foundational values that make our country great, yet, we fund and openly support those who are destroying the very moral fabric that has built the country they are destroying with their perversion of normalcy in men and women as they ignore Leviticus 18:22; 20:13 and Romans 1:24-32.

We have been the one country that has allied itself with the land that God calls "the apple of His eye", yet, even our so-called Bible preachers are preaching the attempted hi-jacking of God's blessings to Israel while allegorizing scripture to support anti-Semitism as they ignore Genesis 12:3 and Romans 9-11.

So where does the Protestant Episcopal Church stand on these issues?

Abortion: Although the Episcopal Church may say it is pro-life, it supports abortion in special cases. According to The Episcopal News Archive, April 07, 2004, the Church joined in an ecumenical march in Washington, D.C. showing their support for women's reproductive rights, which included abortion. According to the article, a Rev. Katherine Ragsdale, an Episcopal priest, not only welcomed the crowd but assured them that the religious community supported their cause. This sounds like a true case of actions speaking louder than the written word as it pertains to abortion!

Homosexuality: Although the Episcopal Church is somewhat divided on this issue, the fact remains that their general acceptance of this proves their tolerance of it despite Scripture forbidding it. In 2003 the Church ordained its first openly gay and non-celibate homosexual!

Replacement Theology: The Episcopal Church is listed among those denominations that hold to Replacement Theology. The Episcopal News Service quoted Desmond Tutu as saying, "that we need to stand with our sister and brother Palestinians who have endured Apartheid" from Israel. The church is also noted as supporting anti-Israel activists.
