Jared Kushner and No Walls
In an article in NTEB by Geoffrey Grider, he writes that Jared Kushner, the US negotiator for peace in the Middle East, has said that to require peace would be to tear down 440 miles of border security protecting Israel. That makes about as much sense as granting freedom to terrorists to infiltrate Israel, not unlike the US democrats opposing the sovereignty of America by equally opposing a wall to protect US citizens. But what does scripture say about Israel and no wall?
In what we know as the 1st Battle of Gog and Magog scripture plainly states, “And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages (Israel); I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them that dwell without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, to take spoil and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land” (Ezekiel 38: 11, 12). Is Mr. Kushner unknowingly setting up Israel for an invasion? Jared Kushner is Jewish. He should know the Old Testament.
We do not know God’s timing on the end time wars. What we do know from scripture is that that there could possibly be another war prior to or simultaneous to that invasion of nations. The prophet, Asaph, wrote about another invasion in Psalm 83. It also has a different list of nations involved that will go against Israel. Psalm 83:4 tells us, “They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” We hear those words of threat daily from the Middle East. (For those who mock Bible prophecy by saying that we cannot interpret the Bible through the newspaper they should read their Bibles and see that the newspapers are validating scripture.) There is a very clear difference in the countries involved as outlined in Psalm 83 and in Ezekiel 38. We also see from Isaiah 17:4 that Damascus will be destroyed in one day. Will these three events all happen at once? That is unlikely. Israel, as Kushner promotes, needs to be without walls. That can only happen when they are free from threats by the surrounding Islamic countries. Then, as scripture so states, they can be without walls. But that is only a set-up for the Gog and Magog invasion. That invasion does not say that they want to wipe Israel out of “remembrance.” It says that they want to “take a spoil, and to take a prey.’’ That is a different narrative than we see in Psalm 83.
Again, we ask: Is Mr. Kushner being used to set the stage for truly end time wars? We may not know if he is or is not. We may not know if the destruction of Damascus as told in Isaiah 17 will happen before the Psalm 83 War or simultaneously. Scripture is clear that for Gog and Magog to invade Israel that she will be a land without walls. This is what Mr. Kushner is proposing.
